About This Workshop

Today’s organizations comprise up to five generations, each with their own attitudes, expectations, and professional styles. With the most diverse and varied workforce in history, leaders must balance the wisdom and experience of older colleagues with adapting to how younger employees work to serve all generations’ needs. In this program, Dr. Karah Sprouse shares insight from her own research and experience working with multi-generational teams including the youngest workplace generation, Gen Z (born 1997-2012).

In this session, Karah will cover team communication, collaboration, conflict management, and leadership – with a particular focus on how Gen Z is most responsive to these topics and how older generations act in ways that confuse them. You and your team will leave with a deeper understanding of each group’s motivations and common misperceptions as well as practical strategies for better engaging one another.

In this session, attendees will:

  • Gain deep insight into the unique contributions of each generation in your organization.
  • Develop a fresh perspective on Gen Z and how your organization can unlock their potential
  • Obtain strategies that empower all generations to collaborate and cultivate one another.
